Dear Parishioners, 

Pope Leo XIV recently went on retreat with the
staĄ of the Vatican ... 5 points were presented by the
retreat master and may be of help to us ... 1. IDEALISM
NEEDS HUMILITY and we ask: do we need to be open to
God's grace in the midst of our idealism? ...2. Freedom is
not doing whatever we want: freedom is saying YES to
God ... 3. Temptations can strengthen us and train our
moral muscle ... 4. Ambition corrodes the soul rather
than giving all to the glory of God ... 5. Holiness in the
church is real credibility to the Gospel ... just some points
from the Pope's retreat as we journey though Lent.

El Papa León XIV recientemente hizo un retiro con el
personal del Vaticano... El maestro del retiro presentó 5
puntos que pueden ser de ayuda para nosotros... 1. EL
IDEALISMO NECESITA HUMILDAD y preguntamos:
¿necesitamos estar abiertos a la gracia de Dios en medio de
nuestro idealismo? ...2. La libertad no es hacer lo que
queramos: la libertad es decir SÍ a Dios... 3. Las tentaciones
pueden fortalecernos y entrenar nuestro músculo moral... 4.
La ambición corroe el alma en lugar de darlo todo para la
gloria de Dios... 5. La santidad en la iglesia es la credibilidad
real del Evangelio... solo algunos puntos del retiro del Papa
mientras caminamos a través de la Cuaresma.
